Jazzfest.Wien History 2019

Lori A. Williams, a native of Washington D.C., is a skillful jazz and R & B singer who, unfortunately, doesn’t record very often. This is mainly because she devotes much of her time to musical education.

During her career, she has worked with the famous jazz-funk band The Blackbyrds, the legendary soul singer Lloyd Price, but also with jazz greats such as Stanley Clarke and George Duke.

Better late than never, she recorded her debut album “Healing Within“ in 2010. This was followed by the sublime “Eclipse Of The Soul“ in 2012. Her elastic voice can wrap itself around every kind of arrangement to evoke deep emotions from the audience.
